Building your first Chart
Once your data is connected, use the Chart Builder to visualize it. You can choose from a wide variety of interactive and customizable chart types:
Bar & Column Charts: For comparing categories.
Line & Area Charts: For visualizing trends over time.
Pie & Donut Charts: For showing proportions.
Scatter Plots: For identifying correlations.
What is a "Data Story"?
A Data Story is more than just a dashboard; it’s a narrative. It allows you to combine multiple charts with text, headers, and insights to guide your audience through the data.
Step 1: Select your key charts.
Step 2: Add "Data Stories" to provide context.
Step 3: Arrange them into a flow that tells a complete story.
Sharing your work
Sharing your findings is built into the platform. You have several ways to get your message out:
Share a Link: Copy your story link to let anyone view your report online. They can see the full report via the link without needing an account.
Social Media: Post your charts directly to Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.
Embed on your Website: Use the Embed Code option from the share button to place interactive charts directly into your own website or blog.
Exporting for Reports
Need to take your data offline? You can download your stories and charts in high-quality formats:
PDF: Perfect for formal reports.
PNG: Great for slides and documents.
SVG: Best for high-resolution web use.
